Hello dear ones :). I hope you’re week is going well. I’m still on Beth Moore’s “James: Mercy Triumphs” Bible study. James 4:15 begins with “If the Lord wills, we will live…”. Beth’s words really struck me this week.
“Your eyes opened to earthly life this morning because God still wants you here.”
After reading Ephesians 1:5 Beth adds “He not only willed for your eyes to open to earthly life again today, He was pleased.”
~ Beth Moore, James: Mercy Triumphs pg 152
Then she has us read these verses and they really are beautiful. Let them soak in :).
Acts 17:26-28
26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Another version says so they may reach out after him and find him. He had joy making us and He wants us to find Him. God isn’t far away and He wants to be close to us. Praise Jesus!

Thank you. 🙂
🙂
I like what you said: ” He had joy in making us and He wants us to find Him.” No wonder He made nature so enticingly beautiful – He’s drawing us to Himself.
