Hello dear ones! I’d like to share our New Year’s crafts in homeschool and then our New Year’s Eve celebrations at my mom’s.
The night before, I left New Year’s Eve facts all over the house. During school, Michael did a scavenger hunt to fill in his fact sheet.

Michael looked up the definition of “resolution” and then he made a door hanger with all of his own resolutions on it.

Michael remembered the best of 2014 by filling out this “Year in Review” worksheet.

Lastly, we made our own New Year’s Eve Ball with glitter and a paper plate.

You may remember this piece of decor from last year at my house.

That night we went to my mom’s house to bring in 2015 :). She had the place all decked out with gold stars and tinsel.
We had lots of yummy food. Mom made the desserts and I brought the chips/dip and pigs in a blanket.
Mom gave us an assignment the week of: write out our goals (6 months, 1 year, & 5 years) and write 5 encouraging notes on lil slips of paper. We shared our goals while we snacked and then we mixed up the slips of paper and each got 5. We looked at an encouragement slip daily for the first 5 days of the new year. It was fun to see what everyone wrote.
Then Mom had us read Bible verses and we talked about how to have hope, peace, and love etc…in the new year.
Next we played Quelf which got really silly. I wish I could show you the video footage but I better not.
Then we brought in the New Year by watching the ball drop on t.v. Michael made our paper plate ball drop too.
Happy New Year! It’s 2015! We made it! Noise makers and confetti abound! (By the way, if you’re new to my blog…I’m very much pregnant. Just had to say that before you saw my picture.)
New Year’s kisses~ wet and sloppy lol. And toasts!

We finished the night out with some disco music and dancing lol. No pics sorry ;).
I don’t like the bottom half of this picture but here is my New Year’s pregnancy pic. The top half is nice enough.
Well, I pray you are blessed in 2015 and that you do great things. God bless & remember the High King lives! ~Amber Dover
