Happy Mother’s Day everyone! Today is doubly special because it’s also my hubby’s 28th birthday :). He got a Star Wars cake because he’s kewl. Happy birthday, Chris!
I also have the best mom ever…..okay I’m a little biased and I hope Michael thinks I’m super too. My mom has been my best friend since I was in the womb. Support my mom by checking out her neat blog all about handwriting analysis, health tips, and inspirational posts.

My mom has taught me alot about life. Growing up we had some tough times. She was a single mom busting her butt to put food on the table. Mom always taught me to enjoy life though…no matter our circumstances. I learned to relish the simple things….candy bars… movie night….dancing to oldies. We loved going to the park and having a picnic.
One memory that will always stick with me is us dancing on top of our car in the middle of the night at the park. Yeah you can definitely be crazy and sober at the same time. I’ve never had even one drop of alcohol my whole life.
LOL 🙂 We did alot of crazy and fun things growing up…..exploring the woods etc…
But I’m truly thankful for how my Mom helped me take care of my Dad his last years…although she was his ex-wife. My amazing mother went back to school in her 50’s and became a CNA. Her experience with home health gave her the ability to care for my Dad in ways I couldn’t. I love her servant’s heart and also how she took care of me during my pregnancy when I was so sick.
I’m thankful my mom (Nana) is best buds with my son as well. I pray I’m atleast half the mom she is. Thanks mom! You’re a saint and my hero 😉
Lastly, I’ve found great tips on Pinterest on how to save money on groceries.
